Group cohort cadence at a glance
14 weeks · 8 sessions · 4.0 individual + 6.0 group = 10.0 ICF hours · 3 observed sessions
The group mentoring pathway is designed for ACC initial credentialing or renewal. You move through three connected phases so that practice, feedback, and formal assessment each build on the last.
Phase 1 · 1:1 Foundation
Hours 1–2 · 2 individual sessions
- Session 1 — Partnership Agreement, baseline diagnostic, and your first recorded coaching conversation reviewed individually with Amy.
- Session 2 — Formative Observation #2: a second recorded session reviewed one-on-one so you receive early, targeted feedback before group labs begin.
- Deliverables: two completed ICF Session Observation Forms and a personalized development focus for the labs.
Phase 2 · Cohort Practice Labs
Hours 3–8 · 4 bi-weekly 90-minute group labs
- Sessions 3–6 are live group skill labs with a cohort of peers, scheduled as a group rather than booked individually.
- Each lab rotates through 20-minute dyads so every participant coaches, is coached, and observes multiple times.
- Peer observation and mentor feedback focus on Competencies 3 through 8: Active Listening, Powerful Questioning, Direct Communication, Creating Awareness, Designing Actions, and Planning & Goal Setting.
- Labs include a timed agenda, reflection prompts, and optional BARS-based appraisal for formative growth.
Phase 3 · 1:1 Integration & Completion
Hours 9–10 · 2 individual sessions
- Session 7 — Formative Observation #3: a final recorded session reviewed individually, producing your third official ICF Session Observation Form.
- Session 8 — Cumulative ICF Competency Review: we audit all three observations against the 67% rule (proficiency in at least two-thirds of behavioral statements across Competencies 3–8).
- Final sign-off includes a formal attestation, export-ready PDFs, and a clear recommendation for next steps.

How do I determine which tier is right for me? (Click to expand Green Bottle & global guidance)
The core self-reflection question: what amount is a meaningful financial stretch that honors your commitment to this deep developmental work, without inflicting financial damage or hardship?
Top of the Scale ($1,800): Basic needs met comfortably, home ownership, discretionary savings, or employer / sponsor development funding.
Middle of the Scale ($1,350 / $1,050): Steady employment, occasional budget stress, modest savings, able to take modest time off.
Bottom of the Scale ($800): Frequently stressed about basic needs, debt limiting essentials, underemployed, and standard rates cause direct hardship.
Global economic realities and regional coaching markets: We recognize that credentialing costs are historically anchored to North American corporate fee structures. In the UK and Europe, coaches often face high costs of living and heavy taxation paired with local coaching market rates that are substantially lower than US standards. Similarly, coaches in the Global South face significant currency conversion barriers. If you practice in a compressed coaching market or emerging economy, we warmly encourage you to select Tier 3 (Supported — $1,050) or Tier 4 (Base — $800) without hesitation.
This scale is adapted from the Green Bottle model of financial privilege (Alexis J. Cunningfolk / Worts & Cunning Apothecary).
All selections are completely confidential. Amy will never ask for proof of income, residency, or financial justification.
