Step-by-Step Mentee Playbook — Group Cohort — Full 10 Hours (14 weeks)

A · Submitting Your Recordings

When to use: Before Sessions 1, 2, and 7.

  • Upload your audio or video recording to RaeNotes and generate your transcript.
  • Open Session Prep, select your session milestone, and paste your RaeNotes share URL.
  • Enter a client pseudonym (e.g., "Client M") to uphold ICF Ethics 1.05 and GDPR privacy. Never include full names or identifying employer data.
  • Answer the mandatory ICF pre-review reflection prompt: what did you do proficiently, and what are your opportunities for growth?
  • The 48-hour boundary: submit your RaeNotes link at least 48 hours before your 1:1 call so Amy has unhurried time to review your transcript.

B · Participating in Group Labs

When to use: During your four live 90-minute cohort labs (weeks 4, 6, 8, and 10).

  • 00:00–00:10 Grounding & competency calibration; 00:10–00:45 Dyad Round 1 (20m coaching + 5m notes + 10m debrief); 00:45–01:20 Dyad Round 2 with roles rotated; 01:20–01:30 large group harvest.
  • Observer role: notice peer coaching through the 2025 ICF Core Competencies (1–8) — observable strengths and wonderings, no scoring in the mentee view.
  • Use the Emergent Competencies box to capture organic coaching moments across any of the eight competencies.
  • Use "Copy feedback for peer" to share your written celebration straight into Zoom chat.

C · Booking Your 1:1 Calls

When to use: When you are ready to schedule Sessions 1, 2, 7, or 8.

  • Both Phase 1 sessions must be booked before group labs begin.
  • Sessions unlock in sequence: Session 2 opens once Recording #1 is submitted; Session 8 opens once all labs and observations are complete.
  • Amy's calendar is capped at 3–4 individual mentor calls per week so every conversation is rested and grounded.
  • Reschedule through your Cal.com confirmation link up to 24 hours in advance — no penalty, no explanation needed.

Evaluation & Benchmarks

Understanding Evaluation & the 67% Rule

  • Individual reviews: In Sessions 1, 2, and 7, Amy conducts formative appraisals using the official ACC Minimum Skills BARS (rev. 01.26.2026), highlighting 2–3 specific strengths and 2–3 actionable development edges with RaeNotes timestamps.
  • The 67% cumulative threshold: For final ACC credential sign-off, you must demonstrate proficiency ("Meets Standard" or "Exceeds Standard") in at least two-thirds of statements across Competencies 3–8:
    • Competencies 3 & 5: at least 3 of 4 statements proficient (75%)
    • Competencies 4, 6, 7, & 8: at least 2 of 3 statements proficient (67%)
  • Binary status badges: Tracked transparently as Proficiency Demonstrated (Meets ICF Standard) or Further Demonstration Needed.
  • Session 8 deliverable: A finalized, digitally signed ICF Mentor Coaching Competency Review Form - ACC, ready for your credential application.
